I started on a crashed 50cc moped when I was 19 i “fixed” it the best I could and since then I’ve been hooked.
My first motorcycle was a cb250 nighthawk, which taught me more about fixing bikes than any book could.
I joined an mcc club and that’s when I first felt the comradery of people on bikes. My personal feeling was that I’d never leave a biker stranded no matter what, I soon found out that all Bikers share that belief. In the last 5 years I’ve met many bikers at all types of events.
When I met Gintautas he introduced me to John and Tom from the Biker’s Shed. The idea of the shed was Fantastic and after many months and years I was asked to join the shed.
I have had many many bikes in the past five years. From viragos to bros’ to superfours my dream was alway a Vn1500. When I did finally get one I learned the hard way about the dreaded plastic oil cog. When I attempted to fix Betty the shed team stepped in and all gave tips and slaggings to help me along with the rebuild.
