My Father was a biker in the early 70’s and had always had bikes so I was always into bikes. I got my first bike at 16 or 17, a Vespa 50 and fairly quickly transplanted an 80cc into her.

 After that I had an Aprilia rs125 and I used to go out with the big boys every Sunday.  They were on the first of the Blades and Gixxers, I hadn’t a hope of keeping up but it was fun trying.

I started a family pretty young, so the bikes were knocked on the head for a few years but always had something to mess around with in the shed. I’ve been back on the bikes now for about 10 years If I’m not on a bike I’m under it, constantly looking for ways to improve a bikes performance and handling.

My passion is for European roads and I try to do at least one trip out a year on the bike.
